New for 2023 is the complete overhaul of our popular Quad Quantizer module, now featuring an easy-to-read OLED menu, and illuminated buttons for quick scale editing.
Features:
4 Quantizer channels handling CV from -3V to +7V.
All Channels output both quantized CV and trigger signals.
CV input can be read continually or triggered by the trigger input of each channel.
42 built-in scales to choose from via the OLED menu system.
12 illuminated buttons to program and change scales quickly on the fly.
Each of the 4 channels can be assigned to one of 4 currently active scales, meaning all channels can follow a single scale, or each channel can follow a different scale.
Fast and clear user interface to make the QQ2 great to use for live performance and recording.
2 assignable mod channels that can control octave, pre-quantization CV transposition, post-quantization CV transposition (Key changing), and scale assignment.
The new firmware manual is listed at the bottom of the page. The above link still contains valid information relating to the hardware, so please use the two in conjunction!

Firmware Ver 2.1 MANUAL - Please read first
NOTE - After installing Ver 2.1, you will need to carry out the NEW input calibration procedure as described in the firmware patch manual below. This is a very simple process and does not require any external equipment, only a patch cable and your QQ2!
Firmware Ver 2.1 has several major changes to the UI, and introduces a lot of new features, so please read the firmware 2.1 manual here before updating.
Patch Notes:
All changes are explained in the ver 2.1 firmware manual:
QQ2 ver2.1 firmware manual
QQ2 ver2.115 - Fixes encoder button sensitivity and improves output jitter while OLED is in use.
If you are unable to use wi-fi for the firmware update, you can flash the new firmware over USB via the Tenderfoot Firmware Installer linked here.
For the usb installer, please use the following steps:
1 - Remove the QQ2 from your eurorack case and unplug any power cables.
2 - Insert USB cable into the port on the QQ2 and your computer.
3 - Download the firmware .bin file AND the Tenderfoot Firmware Installer .exe file.
4 - Run the Tenderfoot Firmware Installer
5 - Press "Open Firmware..." and select the newly downloaded QQ2_firmware.bin file.
6 - Confirm the Chip selected is "esp32"
7 - Select the Serial Port connected to the QQ2. If no ports are shown, press the refresh button. If it still isn't showing up, you may need to install the CH340 USB driver if your computer doesn't already have it.
8 - Select the Baud rate of 460800.
9 - Press the "Flash Firmware" button, and check that the Flashing Log shows text along the lines of "Writing at 0x00....... (2%)" with an increasing percentage.
10 - A dialog box should appear to show that the process was successful. Just unplug the usb from the QQ2, reinstall it in your case, and enjoy!
