Warranty
Limited Warranty
Tenderfoot Electronics products are designed and built to provide years of reliable use. Every module is individually assembled, calibrated, and fully tested before leaving the workshop.
Warranty Period
Tenderfoot Electronics warrants that your product will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for one (1) year from the original date of purchase.
This warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is not transferable.
What is Covered
If your product develops a fault due to defective materials or workmanship during the warranty period, Tenderfoot Electronics will, where appropriate, repair or replace the product. If this is not practical, we may, at our discretion, instead offer a refund of the original purchase price.
What is Not Covered
This warranty does not cover damage resulting from:
- Damage caused by incorrect installation, including reverse polarity or use with an incompatible Eurorack power supply.
- Accidental damage.
- Liquid damage.
- Abuse or misuse.
- Unauthorized modifications or repair attempts.
- Normal cosmetic wear.
- Damage sustained during return shipping due to inadequate packaging.
The warranty also does not cover issues arising from improper installation or operation outside the product's intended specifications.
Shipping
Customers are responsible for the cost of shipping the product to Tenderfoot Electronics for warranty evaluation or repair.
If the repair is covered under warranty, Tenderfoot Electronics will cover the cost of shipping the product back to the customer.
If the fault is found not to be covered under warranty, the customer will be contacted with repair options before any work is carried out.
Tenderfoot Electronics will accurately declare the shipment and, where appropriate, describe returned items as warranty repairs or returned goods. However, we cannot guarantee how customs authorities in your country will assess duties, taxes, VAT/GST, brokerage fees, or other import charges. Any such charges are the responsibility of the customer.
Out-of-Warranty Repairs
Even after the warranty has expired, we'll do our best to repair your module whenever reasonably possible. We believe musical instruments should be repairable, and we'll continue to support our products for as long as parts remain available and repairs are technically feasible. Repairs outside the warranty period may incur charges for parts, labour, and shipping.
